Once you have decided to enroll, please download an Application from our Parent Resources/Forms library, complete it and assemble the documents listed on the front page. Bright Beginnings NYC will review your application and inform you of our availability in the program of your choice.

Once Bright Beginnings NYC has confirmed that a space is available in the program of your choice and you receive an offer of acceptance, you will be provided with an Admission Agreement and will have one week (seven (7) calendar days) to complete same in order to reserve that spot. You will be required to pay the Initial Registration Fee, unless you qualify for a waiver. As stated in the Admission Agreement, the Initial Registration Fee is waived for residents of South Bridge Towers upon proof of residency of the child and his/her parent(s)/legal guardian, as well as for incoming students whose sibling(s) attended Bright Beginnings NYC. If we do not receive a completed Admission Agreement, including the Initial Registration Fee, from you within one week after we extend you an offer of acceptance, we will give that spot to a child on the waiting list.

If a space is currently unavailable, and you would like your child to be added to our waiting list, you will be required to download a Waiting List Agreement from our Parent Resources/Forms library, complete and submit it, together with the non-refundable Waiting List Fee, which will be applied toward your Initial Registration Fee, unless you qualify for a waiver. Your child will be placed on the waiting list on the date we receive the Waiting List Fee, and you will begin to receive our monthly newsletter and other emails. Enrollment priority is given to currently enrolled families seeking placement for another child. You may email Bright Beginnings NYC anytime to check the current waiting list status.

Before your child’s first day of preschool, you will need to have returned the completed Admission Agreement. To make the transition into our program seamless for you and your child, we’ve put together a set of instructions and suggestions in a form titled Your Child’s First Day, which you must download from the Parent Resources/Forms library. Please make sure that you bring the items listed therein with you on your child’s first day of school.

We also recommend that you download and review our Parent Handbook from the Parent Resources/Forms library, which sets forth our policies and procedures. If your child suffers from allergies, please make sure to download and complete our Allergy Policy, Guide and Forms, as well, and make the time to speak to our staff about your child’s allergy treatment needs in the event of an emergency.
